This event is no longer available.
As young professionals in the greater Washington DC region, we’ve all heard this advice at some point in our growing careers: “build your personal brand, market yourself for the job you want, put yourself out there…” But where does one even begin? What exactly is a personal brand? Do we have to “market” ourselves to be successful? It can be daunting to think about and also downright intimidating. However, it doesn’t have to be.
Join YNPNdc and the Foundation Center for an interactive workshop facilitated by Life and Leadership Coach Christa Davis on the ins and outs of building a “brand” that is authentic to who you are. In this workshop, you will learn about what it means to market yourself, how to leverage your unique strengths and attributes to develop your brand, and explore how to overcome any barriers that are holding you back from letting your brand shine.
Food and refreshments will be served. There will be a one-hour workshop with additional opportunity for networking.
